This is the most stripped-down watch in Panerai’s current collection and it also represents the entry level price into the world of Panerai in-house movements, in this case the P.5000. The 564 is a current model, similar to the 177 but without the sandwich dial (at least in the most recent incarnation) and with the new 8-day movement and more writing on the dial. Any thoughts on the pros/cons of each and which you'd prefer is appreciated. Aside from the convenience of the 8 day movement, aesthetically I prefer everything about the 111. Not to say the 510 isn’t a very nice watch, in fact most people would struggle to tell them apart, but there’s just something a little more charming about those older models.
